In Loving Memory of Kathleen (Kathy) Christine Moya

Kathleen (Kathy) who passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025. She was raised in the North Valley and found home in Rio Rancho, NM. Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of so many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.

She was married to the love of her life, John, for 37 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—live music, the healing waters of Ojo Caliente Springs, fishing in the peaceful beauty of Eagle Nest. A place she held so close to her heart.

She leaves behind her husband, John; her children, Nadine and husband Paul Manzanares, and Johnny Jr.; and her cherished grandchildren, Antonio, Santana, and Paul Jr. She is also survived by her brothers, Rick (Michele), Raymond (Marcella), and Michael (LaDonna); her Goddaughter, Jessica Young; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Susan, and her brother, David Gallegos.

Kathy’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She had a smile that could light up a room and a spirit that drew people to her. She loved spending time with family making memories in the places that meant the most to her. She was truly loved by many, and her kindness and love will never be forgotten.

Pallbearers will be Johnny, Jr., Antonio Moya, Robby, Thomas and Marcos Gallegos and Paul Manzanares. Honorary Pallbearer is Paul Jr.
