 JOSEPH LEE ECHOLS
On April 21, 2011 in Alexandria, VA. He was a member of the Old Dominion Boat Club for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his mother Hazel and brother Larry Echols. He is survived by his loving son, Richard Echols; brother, Douglas Echols; father, Haywood L. Echols; numerous extended family and many close friends. Friends may gather on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. with funeral services being held at 7 p.m. at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA 22302. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the ALS Foundation, www.alsfoundation.org or a charity of one's choice.
