Gary West Obituary

Gary was born in Wiesbaden Air Base, Germany March 9, 1955, where his father, a WWII pilot and Colonel, and beloved Mother were stationed. He is survived by his brother, Buzz of Fort Meyers, Fla. and a long list of friends who loved him, including lifelong and childhood friends, Dave Pantaloni of Greenville, S.C., Will Long of San Antonio, Texas, and Ralph Tuncalp of Fredericksburg, Va.

Gary grew up in Alexandria, Va. and graduated from Fort Hunt H.S. He was a lifelong Redskins fan but his true love was Baseball, in which he was a devoted Nationals fan. He was also an avid reader among other things, but what he truly loved were his friends and family. He was a Staunch Republican and a man of integrity and loved his Lord Jesus Christ. Gary worked for Virginia Cab the past six years, where he had many friends and loyal customers who loved him. He will be greatly missed, but not forgotten. Rest in Peace, Brother; You will be Missed.
