Survived By: Husband Frank Sweeney (FHHS class of 1970), daughter Emma Sweeney, brothers Alan (FHHS class of 1968) and James (FHHS class of 1970) Holland.
After marriage, she moved to Knoxville, Tennessee from Alexandria Virginia. She worked for Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) managing the Department of Energy’s Nuclear Industry Annual Manpower Assessment and the National Beryllium Exposure Registry.

Deborah Holland Sweeney (Obituary)
Knoxville - Deborah Holland Sweeney, a beautiful woman, a loving and caring wife and devoted mother, passed into a better place. Deborah was the life force that held our family together. Her life was devoted to compassion for others. Deborah graduated from the University of North Carolina, Phi Beta Kappa, with a degree in business. She married her husband Frank and moved to Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a master's degree in business administration.
She worked for over thirty years at Oak Ridge Associated Universities as a statistical analyst and program manager. During the first half of her career, she produced the statistical analysis and publication of the annual Department of Energy Nuclear Engineering Education and Manpower Report. During the latter part of her career, she managed and maintained the Department of Energy Beryllium Registry, in which she performed statistical analysis tracking the health effects of workers exposed to Beryllium. Deborah always provided for her family in every way.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Sweeney; daughter, Emma Sweeney; brothers, Alan and James Holland; mother, Oma Holland; niece, Jaci Holland Limbrick; and nephew, Chase Holland. A celebration of life will be held 6 to 8 pm at Click Funeral Home in Farragut on Friday June 17. A private graveside service will be held for family.
