I don't know how I got on the "In Memory" list but I promise I'm very much alive and well.

Sorry for the mix-up, Kit/Bob.  Our information source is listed on the posting. We try to verify everything we can, but facts can get confused by well-meaning alumni.  We're glad you're alive and well and I'll fix you up on the website.

Hey Kit, I'm also very relieved to hear you're alive and well!  But when it is our time, we should get a full dress honor ceremony by the Safety Patrol!

I was remiss in not acknowledging Steve Doud's posting about Bob (Bobby) Baker.  I remember when he died, he was still incredibly young and one of our first friends we lost that helped us all realize we weren't invincible. Bobby was one of the "motor heads" my brother and I hung out with and he had all the positive energy and humor that being young and having a muscle car gave us back then.

Steve, I know you and my brother, Eric, have stayed in touch and you're actually now living in the Hawkeye State (Iowa) which I also did for 10 years and I'll forever be a loyal Hawkeye!  I also understand you're still into fast cars, as am I (2013 Mustang GT) and Eric!  Thanks for posting this remembrance of Bob (not Kit!)
