During his Senior Year of High School, he was recruited to play Collegiate football at Shepard College in West Virginia. Greg also earned Honorable Mention in the All-Gunston District Voting for his athletic ability on the football field.

Greg played collegiate football at Shepard College for one year before transferring to Radford University in Radford, Virginia. He loved the Washington Commanders and LSU football especially. Greg almost never missed a Jimmy Buffet concert and even had a shark fin suit made for concert appearances.

To relax, Greg loved to escape to Reedville, Virginia with some of his closest friends for a long weekend of fishing, boating, and poker. On weekend nights Greg could be found at the dining room table after dinner having a glass of wine and debating politics and history with his father, William. Greg will be missed dearly by all in his life. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday October21,2024 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Manassas.
