With sadness, I report the passing of Richard (Rick) W. Greene ('71) earlier this year in Tucson, AZ. Rick's family moved into the FHHS area before his junior year. During his time at Fort Hunt, Rick played on the football and track and field teams. In his senior year Rick was the defensive captain for the football team.

After graduation, Rick attended Ferrum Junior College and Hampden Sydney, continuing his football career at both schools. Rick worked for many years in commercial real estate, specializing in site selection for many of the big box stores located throughout the United States. Rick is survived by four grown children, four grandkids, his brother Kenneth ('73) and sister Patricia ('74).
