DECEASED ALUM: JEFF GURSKI, FHHS '68
FHHS '68 Classmates:
Stan Boren reports that Jeff Gurski passed away yesterday (9/9/2004).
As was noted earlier, he was in a long-term care facility in Northern Virginia. As of now, there are no specific plans regarding a memorial service. Jeff and I were friends at FHHS and I remember him as easy going and engaging. Please feel free to share your memories about Jeff by responding to this email.

I remember Jeff in our Home Room and other classes. Always with a good joke. So sorry to hear of his passign.

I think of Jeff Gurski whenever I see the words "Popes Head Road", a frequent choice in the FHHS Sports Car Club rallies. Jeff asked me to navigate a few times and I do recall a small third place trophy once! - Jamie Duley Morley

Jeff and I grew up together in the '50's and '60's as neighbors on Wellington Road. We both had a love of cars as kids and spent many days playing with our scale model toys. Our fathers often got us new additions from local car dealorships provided for test drives. We always got together quickly after Christmas to examine the terrific presents we received. I have a vivid memory of the time Jeff's father, Chet, came home after having hit a large deer. His car had a mashed in front, but still totally driveable. An Oldsmobile. Built to last.
