Harry (Hank) Russell Hinton, 73 of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday September 18, 2024 at his home in Madisonville, KY.
He was born March 14th, 1951 in Frankfort, KY to Elizabeth Hudson Hinton and Harry Russell Hinton, Sr.
He was of the Christian faith. He served his country from 1969 to 1972 during the Vietnam War. He was a Phi Betta Kappa graduate of the University of Kentucky and was also a graduate of the School of Law at U.K. He was a practicing attorney in Madisonville, KY for more than thirty years. He was an avid History buff. He enjoyed gardening, UK basketball, spending time with his family and his dogs Buddy Boy and Nora (aka Spot).
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Alexander McEwan Hinton, a sister Christine McEwan Hinton, and a nephew Nicholas Hinton.
He is survived by his wife Thresa, daughter Ivori Lynn Hinton, a son John Waring (Jack) Hinton, two brothers- Herbert Baxter (B) Hinton (Paula) and Jeffrey Waring (Jay) Hinton, sister Cecile Noel Mitchell, grandson Eric "Rusty" Hinton and granddaughters, Delilah Hinton and Caroline Hinton. He was also loved by his step-children, step-grandchildren, and several nieces.
