Oswald Christian "Chris" Fredricks, Jr., 64, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at his home in Cary.

Chris was born January 3, 1951 in New Orleans, LA to the late Oswald Christian Fredricks, Sr. and Esther Sack Fredricks. He was a graduate of the University of Virginia and was self-employed in the printing industry operating O.C. Fredricks & Associates. Chris was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Cary. He battled MS for over 25 years, but managed to keep a positive outlook on life. Chris was an avid UVA sports fan and loved the Redskins.

He is survived by his daughters, Michelle Fredricks of Fairfax, VA; and Carolyn Ulrich of Cary; and his sisters, Susan Brownridge and husband, Robert of Middletown, DE; Sheila Bayer of Slidell, LA; and Joan Fredricks of Harahan, LA.

A memorial service will be held 11am Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC 27502, with Pastor Mark Drengler officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Interment will be held in New Orleans, LA at St. John's Cemetery on February 9, 2015.
