Ralph Peterson age 75 of Purcell passed away on February 24, 2026 in Oklahoma City. Ralph Edward Peterson was born on July 6, 1950 in Beeville, Texas to Frank Bernard Peterson and Billie Jean Peterson (Stevens). He grew up in south Texas and joined the oil field work force after graduating high school. Ralph retired from his sales position at Applied Industrial, and relocated to Purcell where he was able to spend time working with his horses and cattle. In his spare time, he liked to fish, golf, and spend time with his buddies. He also loved tinkering with and driving his 1965 GTO convertible whenever he could. Ralph was a beloved Husband, Father, Brother, and Pappy who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

My condolences to the family. I didn't know Ralph well but I was friends with Steve. I remember once when their fox terrier had pups the Peterson's gave me one. I believe Ralph felt it was his puppy. Peace
