HOWARD RAY COMBS of Terrell passed away on January 14, 2005 in Terrell, Texas. He was born on May 5, 1951 to the late Thomas Howard and Jewel Palmer Combs in Alice, Texas. Howard lived in Terrell for 16 years. He was a professional truck driver for Red Arrow which sold to Carolina Freight and later sold to ABF freight. He was a member of Teamster Local 745. Howard was also a 32nd Degree Mason. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmie Combs and infant sister, Katherine. Howard is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Sherry Combs of Terrell; children, Shelly Butcher of Keller, Kristy Stachmus and husband, Jeff, of Keller, Brenda Shults and husband, Russell, of The Colony and Erica Allen of Terrell; grandchildren, Courtney, Justin, Le-Ann, Gillian, Joy, Taylor, Miranda, Aaron, Michael Ray, Zachary, Ryan and Devin Thomas; great-grandchild, Blake; sisters, Brenda Kalinec of Alice and Judi Simonton of Orange Grove; mother-in-law, Ruth E. Lanham and father-in-law, Eugene Hoover both of Terrell; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Memorial services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel in Terrell with Rev. Terry Kiser officiating.
