Sam E. Lanham, age 30, of Alliance, died Friday Jan. 7, 2011 in the Alliance Community Hospital. He was born July 15, 1980 in Alliance. He graduated from Marlington High School and received his LPN degree from Canton School of Nursing. He works for Nentwick Convalescent Center in East Liverpool and is a member of the NRA.

He is survived by a daughter Cassidy "Sissy Bug" Lanham of Alliance, 2 sons; Clayton Lanham of Alliance and Kyle Lanham of Alliance, mother; Kathy Flitcraft of Alliance, grandparents; Barbara Baum of Alliance, Ivan (Linda) Lanham of Carrollton, brother; D.J. (Missy) Flitcraft of Alliance, girlfriend; Regina Bee of Alliance, uncle; Douglas Lanham and his favorite cat "Lilly". He is preceded in death by his father Delbert Flitcraft Sr. who died in April of 2010.

Calling hours will be held Monday from 5-7 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses. (1-10-11)
