I'll never forget my first day of highschool and meeting Grant in the cafeteria. He had such a friendly smile and a great demeanor about him. I was nervous and he seemed calm and outgoing. My sister and I became great friends with him. He was there for me for me whenever I needed him and even cooked my sister an elegant meal when she was going through a hard time. If I ever needed to talk he was there. He learned how to be a superior chef from working in kitchens like the Cabana Club. The last time I saw Grant he was working there and he told me he had a girlfriend, I remember saying I wanted to meet her to make sure she was good enough for him. Grant had such a big heart and he always wore it on his sleeve.
Life is full of trial and tribulations and can even be unbearable. I know God wanted him in heaven more than Grant wanted to be here.
REST IN PIECE GRANT.
