Welcome!

Welcome to the Altavista, Virginia High School Alumni website for graduates, faculty, family, and friends.  The Altavista High School Alumni Association was founded June, 2021, by a group of alumni and faculty to promote fellowship among present and future alumni.

Our Mission

The Association will strive to organize and maintain the active interest of all alumni as a support organization with diversity and pride in the heritage of Altavista High School.  As we continue to grow, we hope to increase the offerings of the Association to help strengthen the impact we have on our school by becoming a strong resource for all AHS students, alumni, and staff. 

Our Goals

• Provide graduating, trade school and college-accepted seniors scholarships based on donations
• Provide resources needed by the school and students who are attending Altavista Combined School
• Maintain a website so AHS alumni will have a common place to find and communicate with each other
• Accumulate complete rosters for AHS classes
• Upload past, present, and future yearbooks
• Post alumni news and photos
• Foster the spirit of Colonel Pride and the generosity of the Colonel family
