Danny was a great person.  He always seemed to have a smile on his face no matter what was happening to him.  I saw him at the 20 year reunion and he looked great.  We kept in contact a little after that and he was talking about riding his motorcyle to Florida.  I was sad to hear of his passing but I have very fond memories on Danny from childhood and adulthood.

Danny was absolutely one of the most fun and thoughtful guys that I knew.  We used to spend lots of time during Student Council goofing off, driving around, sitting at the Bluffview overlook point in the Fall enjoying the colors and chatting about life.

Of course, music was such a passion for him.  When he and Fritz and the other guys put that crazy band together, The Non-Conformanist wildebeest Band I was so entertained!  He loved being a rocker.  Loved the idea of being free to dance, sing and play music LOUD.  Danny provided me with so many great high school memories.

After moving to Dallas I was able to reconnect with him in Austin where I traveled for business.  It truly broke my heart to see him fight his post Leukemia battle.  He did fight...and HARD.

I miss Dan.  He had a loving spirit and deep loyalty.  May his memory be eternal.
