Fred Keidel VIEW PROFILE

This is Fred Keidel's wife Lynn. I've been trying to find out where to post that my dear husband passed away unexpectedly Oct. 6, 2015. I know he would have wanted his friends informed. Please post his loss on the In Memory page. Thank you.  (Note from Marilyn - Just found this. I believe Fred died in Wyandotte OK, will look for obituary information.)

I never new Freddy Nelson Keidel very well, but I do remember what a very likable guy he was.  All I know now is that he left behind a wife to mourn him.  To leave knowing you will be missed is a great boon and the best tribute to a life well lived.  My sympathy to Lynn, whom I have never met.  I hope you find comfort in knowing that Fred was well liked by his classmates.

Hmmm, there's some website glitch here.  I didn't write the lines above, but they were posted under my name.  I remember Fred as a down-to-earth guy, with no pretentiousness about him, and very likable, never a bully, never put people down, always affable..   And Fred made a wonderful thing out of his life.  Served in the army, finished high school, started his own business, raised a family, got a college degree, and became a teacher.   Very few people can say that, and I'll repeat what I DID write earlier:  Fred, you are an inspiration to us all, and gone far too soon.    Roger Cooke

I agree, Roger.  The message from Lynn tells us how loved he was. That is a great tribute to any person. He should rest peacefully having been loved so dearly.

Fred and I used to play at the construction site where Edwards St.ended in the "woods" Our favorite thing to do was explore the rain run off sewers up to Brown St. WE did not have the luxury of flashlights so we used cat tails soaked in Kerosene . I am surprised that we didn't get blown up then . The fun part of this was when we got up to the curb drains at Brown St . was to make some kind of wierd noises when people walked over the top of us . Fred , I hope that the rest of your life was as much fun as those days .

You are missed ,

Mike
