Sharon K. Kessler, 79, passed away at home with her family by her side November 5, 2021. She was born on August 3, 1942 in Alton, IL; the daughter of John and Etta Mae (Feldwisch) Webber. Sharon graduated from Alton High School in 1960.
   She was formerly married to Louis H . Huck on March 23, 1962. Together they had one daughter, Nanette Lynn. They divorced in 1970. She married Ronald W. Kessler on September 27, 1980 in Alton.
Sharon worked at Alton Box Board before the birth of her daughter. She went back to work in 1970 for the Alton School District and later at EE-Jay Motor Transportation. In 1973 she started working at Mike's Inc. She retired from there in 2003 as office manager and Corporate Secretary after 30 years of service.
  She was a member of Cherry Street Baptist Church and was baptized there at the age of 10. She had been a volunteer at St. Anthony's Hospital.
   In addition to her husband Ron, she is survived by one daughter, Nanette (Mick) Worley of Eagarville, two granddaughters, Shaika (Caleb) Ingram and Rebecca Good. Sharon gained three more children when she married Ron: Julie (Paul) Wock of Jerseyville, Dennis Kessler of Jerseyville, and Vicki (Cory) Schilling of Alton; She has been blessed with four additional grandchildren, Demi Kessler, Sadie McAdams, Henry Schilling, and Brady Schilling; three great grandchildren, Lachlan Foster, Caisyn Ingram, and Jonah Jarman; one sister, JoAnn Piacentini, two nieces, Cathi (Sam) Culbertson and Julie Webber and her companion Suzy Duffy, and one nephew, Bill (Donna) Webber.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jack and his wife Joyce and one nephew, Mark Andrews.
   Sharon enjoyed her grandchildren & great grandchildren, family traditions, working in her yard and outdoor flowers, genealogy, riding on motorcycle with Ron and going to their winter home in Florida.
Family traditions were very important to her and she hopes they will continue now that she is gone.
  Private funeral services were held at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey. Burial was at Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery in Godfrey.
