James Forth McGaughey, Jr.
James McGaughey Jr.
James F. McGaughey Jr., 46, of Grafton, died at 5:25 a.m. today, June 23, 1987, at JerseyCommunityHospital following an extended illness. He was an automobile dealer all of his adult life and most recently had an agency in Clearwater, Fla.' He was born June 5, 1942 in Alton, a son of James F. McGaughey Sr. of Grafton and the late Bessie (McElrith) McGaughey. In addition to his father, surviving is a son, Jeffery McGaughey of Clearwater, FL.
Visitation was at Gent Funeral Home. Services were condected at the funeral home with the Rev. George Gudy officiating. Burial was at ValhallaMemorial Park in Godfrev.

I'm also sorry to learn that Jim passed away, and so long ago when I wasn't even aware of it until now.
My father's second wife (now his widow) has a son-in-law named McGaughey. It hadn't occurred to me before to wonder whether he is related to Jim. I must remember to ask the next time I'm in contact with him.

Jim & I hung around together for awhile, even double dated. His Dad's car lot was close to my parent's house, close to the Comet Drive in . I've had heard several years ago that he had passed away . He was a good friend
