Ralph Greg Johnson 57, passed away 6:25 pm Thursday January 15, 2009, at St. Anthony's Health Center in Alton.

He was born January 31, 1951 in Alton, IL. to Ralph L. & Mildred Arlene (Coons) Johnson.

Greg loved to fish and golf and was an avid sports fan.

Greg is survived by his father, a son, Todd Johnson of Virden, IL, two daughters, Alexis Johnson of Commerce, TX, and Andrea Johnson of Addison, TX; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Rios of Alton and Sharon and Bruce Fairchild of Rochester, MN and three grand-children Jake, Joshua & Mark Johnson.

His mother preceded him in death.

Per his wishes cremation rites were accorded with a Memorial Visitation on Monday, January 19, 2009 from 3 pm to 4 pm and a Memorial Service following at 4 pm at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton with Rev. Bob Phillips officiating.

Memorials were suggested to The American Cancer Society.
