Edward McCrady

Edward Charles McCrady, 65, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday June 14, 2016.

He was born February 2, 1951, in Alton the son of Samuel and Annie McCrady. He served his country in the United States Army and was one of the best auto mechanics in town. Edward was a loving Father, grandfather, brother uncle, cousin and friend.

He is survived by his son, Mark (Kimberly) McCrady; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Louella (Skip) Clanton, Earlene Mack; two brothers, William (Theresa) McCrady, Rev. Darrell (Sherry) McCrady; and a host of nieces. nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Visitation: 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, at Cathy M. Williams & Sons Funeral Home, 1695 Oakwood Ave., in Alton. Rev. Darrell McCrady Eulogist. Burial: Upper Alton Cemetery.

My deepest condolences to Ed's family and friend. I haven't seen him since high school, but remember him well.
