Rhoda Kay (Myers) Parrish, 73, died at 7:36 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born August 18, 1951 in Wood River, the daughter of the late Leslie and Mildred (Deck) Myers.

She was the manager for Block’s Restaurant and the Village Inn in Alton for many years.

On July 23, 1971 in Alton, she married John Parrish Jr., and he survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jason Parrish (Becky) of Alton and John Parrish (Kelsey) of Decator, IL and seven grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Private inurnment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Gent Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Additional information and online guestbook may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
