Kenneth Weldon Pugh, Jr. died at 9:53 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was born October 20, 1951 in Corpus Christi, TX the son of the late Kenneth Weldon and Mildred Fay (Campbell) Pugh.
Kenneth worked at Cope Plastics as a custom fabricator until is retirement in 2021. On October 10, 1986 in St. Louis, MO he married Dora May Boyer and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Brian Pugh of Alton, Timothy Pugh (Justine) of Collinsville, Douglas Pugh of Alton and one brother, Michael Pugh.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Graveside service will follow at 12:15 p.m. at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.

Golly... it hurts to see Ken passing away. We met back in band in West Jr so many years ago. He and I enjoyed playing trumpet and marching with the bands at West Jr and at AHS. I recall one specific weekend memory very clearly. We were down at Riverside Park attending a carnival. He had to convince me... and he "braved me up"... to go with him on a round'n'round flying contraption.
I offer my long distance and humble sympathies to his family. We will ALL miss Ken.
