The Sacramento Bee has her obit. Stephanie Hurst (Bean, Korb) died on Aug 16. She was born in Alton, Ill May 13, 1944. It said that she died at home in Roseville, CA. She'd worked for the Dept of Corrections from 1973 to 1998. She moved to California in 1963 right after graduating from high school.

I remember how pretty she was when I saw her at our 25th class reunion. Seeing so many of our classmates passing is really hard. They should not be dying so young. Pam Reynolds

I remember Stevie as I grew up on Park Ave. in Upper Alton. She was my neighbor. Later on when we were in Jr. High and High School, we would come after playing basketball at Joey Wannamaker's, and Stevie would give us something to drink. Her pretty red hair and friendly smile set her apart. She will be missed. Love from Robin Burress
