Spencer had not been well for several years but the past 2-3 years had been fairly rough for him. He was our "country neighbor". Last spoke to him in mid July. Same ole Spencer but weak. It is sad whenever we loose a classmate or a classmate looses his/her spouse. Now your 50th reunion committee has lost two members. Spencer and George Hailer. I never had the pleasure of dancing w/him but lots of you did and he was one heck of a good dancer. His struggles, cancers, are now gone. He will be missed.
