Alton - Anthony Wayne Brown, known to many as "Tony Brown" was born on Aug. 31, 1956 in Alton, Illinois, to the union of the late Superintendent Cornelius B. Brown Sr. and Mother Bertha Mae Casey Brown. He was the tenth child of 11 children to this union. At an early age Anthony accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and in early 2021 rededicated his life to Christ.

Tony was "the jack of all trades".

Tony was a member of Brown's Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Alton.
