JERSEYVILLE- Deborah K. Hunter, 42, died at 8:15 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2000 at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehab Center.

  Born Ausust 17, 1957, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of James and Thelma (Thompson) Hunter of Bethalto.

  July 2, 1976, in Boulder, Colorado, she married Stephen D. Crew.  They later divorced.  He preceded her in death.

  She was involved in an automobile accident in 1984, and never recovered.  She was employed at Blue Fountain Nursing Home for one year prior to the accident.

  Also surviving are two daughters, Melanie Dee Kimberley of Atlanta, GA and Kristin Dawn Wright of Rossville, GA; a son Brian Douglas Crew of Washington D.C.; two grandchildren, Henry Crew of Washington, D.C. and Sidney Kimberley of Atlanta, GA.; two sisters, Katherine S. Clifton of Naperville and Sandra J. Hunter of Wood River; a brother, Robert W. Hunter of Wood River; five nices and four nephews.

  Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Elias-Smith Funeral Home in Bethalto, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday by Rev. Gibbs of the First Baptist church of Roxana.

  Cremation will take place after the services and burial will be at a later date at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.  Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
