1965 - 1966 Attended University of Oregon (Ducks !!)
1966-1969 Attended Oregon State University (Beavers!)
1969 Graduated OSU, BS Electrical & Electronics Engineering
1969 - 1973 lived in Los Angeles, California area; worked for Hughes Aircraft Company; design engineer
1973 Moved to Portland, Oregon area; worked for Tektronix, Inc.; joined Oregon Air National Guard
1985 Became self-employed with computer business
1989 – 1992 On Active Duty US Air Force in Germany and Andrews AFB, Maryland
1992 Moved back to Portland, Oregon area; worked as business consultant and self-employed
1994 Retired from Military (Major), 24 years service (9 years Active Duty)
1994 - 2005 Worked for Intel Corp. as Engineering Program Manager and in Quality positions
2001 Married Marianne Cecilia Bratt (Anna passed)
2005 Retired !!
2005 – 2025
A lot of travel – USA and international (about 30 countries)
Have become a railroad nut - now actively involved with the National Railway Historical Society and the Oregon Rail Heritage Center - a new railroad museum in Portland, Oregon (the real ones!).
Also enjoy model railroading, coin collecting and camping.
2025 Last year Marianne and I moved into a "Senior Living Facility - with Independent Living". We absolutely LOVE it! Most Seniors don't know about this - if you don't, you need to check it out.

Graduated from Oregon State University 1969 BS Electrical & Electronics Engineering
