Lester Leroy ‘Mac’ McCool Jr.

Lester Leroy “Mac” McCool Jr., 74, Daphne, Ala., passed away Wednes­day.

He was born in Altoona.

Surviving are his wife, Ann D. McCool of Daphne, Ala.; a daughter, Lindsey S. (Max) Loegters of Sausalito, Calif.; a son, Scott M. (Ashley) McCool of Erie, Colo.; two grandchildren: Abby and David; a sister, Cynthia (Kim) DePue of Lehighton; a brother, David (Judith) McCool of West Chester; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Mac was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam where he was the recipient of the Bronze Star.

Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service, Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017, at Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope Chapel, Fairhope, Ala. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Alabama State Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort, Ala.
