Robert F. James, 81, Queen, formerly of East Juniata, died Tuesday.

He was born in Juniata, son of the late Frank and Geraldine (Lewis) James. Surviving are his wife, Alice; children: Robert Jr., Lori and Jeffrey James and Cheryl Abbott; his grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Cindy; and siblings: Charlene Pavloc, Beverly Emig and Donald. He was predeceased by a son, Adam; a sister-in-law, Nancy; and siblings, Howard and David. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Altoona; and from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Friday, May 26, 2023, at the funeral home.
