
John L. Drenning

John L. Drenning, 68, Orlando, Fla., formerly of Altoona, passed away peacefully Monday, June 21, 2021. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Robert Paul and Margaret Howland (Boyles) Drenning.
He was proud to attend Penn State and received an associate degree in engineering.
John was happiest when with his family, enjoying good conversation, food and spirits.
Some of his fondest memories were those made at his family home on Ruskin Drive with his parents and five siblings. John was also extremely proud to be actively involved with the care of his grandchildren and watching them grow over the years.
John is survived by his children: Heather (Josh) Herring and Theresa (Donovan) Mufdi, all of Orlando. He was immensely proud of his four grandchildren: Lorraine Herring, 9, Andrew Herring, 9, James Mufdi, 7, and Benjamin Mufdi, 4.
John came from a close and loving family that consisted of five siblings: the late James (Betty) Drenning, the late Rick (Connie) Drenning, Kenneth (Jeanne) Drenning, David (Cheryl) Drenning, and his twin sister, Mary Ann (Lind) Young.
He was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend to all who knew him.
