Jay T. Hartman, 59, Duncansville, died Wednesday at Altoona Center for Nursing Care.
He was born in Altoona, son of Gerald E. and Sylvia (McConnell) Hartman.
Surviving are two daughters: Regina of Northern Cambria and Jennifer of Hermitage; a stepdaughter, Emily Powers of Altoona; eight grandchildren: Tyler, Makenna, Cameron, Gaven, Tommy, Malia, Lucas Jr. and Jessie; and two sisters: Doris Burk and husband, Ronald, of Newry and Lee Imler of Duncansville.

Jay retired on disability from Conrail. He enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle.
