Mark J. Leap, 58, of Altoona died Friday at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Jerome H. and Marcella E. (Barber) Leap. Surviving are two brothers: Adrian Leap of Tyrone and Kevin Leap of Abbottsown, Pa.; and a sister, Cynthia Julius, of Altoona. He served in the Air Force. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave. A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Stevens Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
