Kathleen A. Baker, 69, Duncansville, passed away Sunday following her courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Victor C. and Margaret A. (Janosik) Panaro.

She is survived by three daughters: Breanne Corby (Eric), Erica Paul (Beasom) and Heather Rios (Manny); six grandchildren: Alexander and Quinn Corby, Teela Lenay Madden, Essie Jean Williams, and Nhia and Alisia Rios; and a great-grandchild, Samina Lenay Edison. She is also survived by her significant other and companion of 18 years, Michael Emerick.

Kathleen was a 1971 graduate of Altoona Area High School and retired from Interim HealthCare. She was a CPN and previously worked for Home Nursing Agency and Easter Seals.

She enjoyed cooking, shopping, reading, going on beach trips with friends and spending time with her friends and family.

Friends will be received from 2 until the 4 p.m. funeral service Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Duncansville. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
