Sandra Roth (Myers)  2015
Sandra L. "Sandy" Myers, 61, passed away Saturday afternoon March 21, 2015 at Golden Living Center - Hillview, Altoona.
She was born December 5, 1953 in Altoona a daughter of the late Carl and Ethel A. (Ferguson) Roth. She married John B. Myers on December 1, 1978. He preceded her in death February 13, 1987.
Surviving are four sons, John (Pam) of Tennessee; Christopher A. of Altoona; Jacob P. (Nancy) of Ft. Drum, NY; Scott A. (April) of Falls Creek; six grandsons, Zach; Jonathan; Matthew; Scotty; Michael; and Jayson; sister Diana Flynn and husband Michael of St. Louis, MO and brother Mark Roth and his wife Michelle of Altoona.
Sandra was preceded in death by brothers Carl Roth on November 22, 1991 and Wayne A. Roth on January 30, 2010; and God's little angel, grandson Andrew Lee Myers.
Sandy was a U.S. Army veteran attaining the rank of PFC serving from July 1975 to April 1977 with the Women's Army Corps.
Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday March 24, 2015 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth  Avenue, Altoona where military honors will be accorded at 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, it was Sandy's wish that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
