It is with a sadden heart and tearfull eye that I read this about Billy's passing. He was my friend for many many years. I so enjoyed seeing him at each of the reunions, we would hash out old times and memories of our school years together. He was a great person and a good friend, I will miss him greatly.
Billy and I had a few classes together in high school. One class was Speech class. I will never forget the speech he gave when he was called upon to give an impromtu speech on any subject he chose. He strode up to the podium and announed he was going to speak on the sex life of a jellyfish. We were astounded. It was absolutely hilarious! He possessed a brilliant imagination. The speech took some time as he had to continually wait for the laughter to subside before he could proceed. I am glad I knew him. I am praying for peace for his family.
