In Memory

Ed Garvin

I just wanted to inform you that my husband of 25 years, Edward Lewis Garvin, a 1989 graduate of AHS passed away October 29, 2017.  He was a teacher and a coach in Pampa, TX. He had been a teacher here for 11 years, but had completed 17 years of teaching.   He was also the Boy Scout Master of Troop 404 in Pampa, TX.  He had rare blood disease that we did not know about.  He had ran a triathlon two weeks before his death.  He got jaundice while he was at a boy scout camp.  We took him to the hospital and he  passed away a week later.

All of his students loved his classes.  He was the fun teacher that truly cared about all of his students.  We have 3 sons, Christopher 22, Joshua 17, and Daniel 15.  We miss him very much.

Sincerely,

Crystal Garvin

So sorry to hear about Ed. He was a great guy. Sounds like that continued after High School. Prayers for you and your family, and all his friends, students, and those who were blessed to know him.

Crystal, I am so sorry to learn of Ed's passing. We were friends in high school and he always had a joke to tell. My prayers are with you and your family. Sincerly, Jason Tubbs

Ed will be missed. He was a great teammate and one of the hardest workers on our swim team. So sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. I remember him being kind, humble and smart.  He always had a smile and remember him being a good swimmer.  What a servant he was!  So sad for you all and pray for God to continue to bless your with peace, provision and strength.
