Dee "Dee Dee" Marie Wood, 40, of Amarillo, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with A.J. Griffin, of Word of Life Church in Borger, and the Rev. Max Beggs, retired, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
"Dee Dee" was born Feb. 4, 1970, in Amarillo to Marvin and Dorothy Long. She worked as a massage therapist in the health care industry. She loved to dance and was so full of life, but most of all, she loved her three children.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Trevathan and husband Rodney of Amarillo; two sons, Kevin Michael Wood and Cody Wayne Wood, all of Las Lunas, N.M.; a daughter, Brittany DeAnn Wood of Las Lunas; two sisters, Charlene Davis of Amarillo and Debbie Griffin of Sanford; three brothers, Shawn Trevathan of Canyon, Tim Trevathan of Sweetwater, Okla., and Mark Trevathan of North Dakota; and a stepbrother, William Trevathan of Claude.
