Christy and I were best friends at Belmar. Her dad was the principle there. I had not heard that she passed away. Does anyone know what happened to her?

She passed away in May 2006 from a pulmonary embolism (blood clot to the lung)following knee surgery. She was living in Dallas at the time.

Thank you Amy. We were back in Amarillo at that time but did not hear about it. I have a lot of memories of Christy, as I'm sure you do.

Elementary was fun wasn't it girls?! Christy was probably one of the sweetest, smartest and most clever women I have known. We were so fortunate to know her and be blessed with her friendship. Talking to her was one of the highlights of the 10 year reunion and I will miss her.
