Slater Elza

Sean passed away May 23, 1998 after a recurrence of cancer. He had practiced as an engineer for several years in the Wichita Falls area before returning to Texas Tech to work on a Master's Degree in Engineering. He withdrew from school following his diagnosis and returned to Amarillo.

Sean B. RileySean B. Riley, 27, of Amarillo, died Saturday, May 23, 1998.Services were on Thursday, May 27, in St. John The Baptist Church in Syracuse, N.Y. Mr. Riley was born in Syracuse and moved to Amarillo in 1982. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1989. He received his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Texas Tech University.Mr. Riley was employed from 1994 until 1996 as a production supervisor at Cryovac, division of W.R. Grace, in Wichita Falls. He was a volunteer for the Amarillo School District HOST program and was a graduate student at Texas Tech.Survivors include his parents, Ron and Sue Riley of Amarillo; a sister, Shannon R. Riley of Marcellus, N.Y.; and his grandmother, Esther Riley of Syracuse.The family requests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, Texas.
