Caprock High School
Class Of 1989

Jeff Frazer
I am still at Caprock High School teaching U.S. History AP and Government AP. I now have a new room-- Room 1402. We have now gone to a "House Concept" where each class is in a separate building. I teach in the Junior house although I still do teach a couple senior Government classes.
I also have begun teaching your children at Caprock. I think that may be a mean prank you are playing on me!
I remember "Happy Holidays on the High Plains" which was our Christmas program written in the Honors U.S. History class. We performed it on TV and at Dr. Wilhelm's Christmas Party.
I also remember Shawn Uselding trying to explain the "Krupec" which was the name for Santa Claus at his house. He said that sometimes his Dad would get up on the roof after having a little too much "egg nog."
I also remember students dressing in historical costumes, and Randy Sell came to History class in a Toga.
I also remember that Suzanne Escamilla would be perfectly happy having a debate everyday in class. She could sure argue.
I have many fond memories of the Class of 1989. I still have the teacher desk that was signed by Anjanette Jones and Tony Branch-- the two All-State choir members in 1989.
