I loved Fred. He was a good friend. I'm quite sure I have no idea what Mike Eubank is referring to above about Fred, me, Travis and Mike getting thrown into jail in some little podunk town on the way to Pampa for getting into a fight with some guys who were picking on us. We were all passive guys. I'm just glad that Fred's wife brought money to bail me out too or I would have still been there. I was the only single guy in the crowd and I sure wasn't going to call my father. Fred was a terrific guy and we lost a lot when he was killed in that car wreck. Mike's right about Fred's son, Blaine, looking just like him. God rest your soul, my friend. I know you and Travis are in heaven now getting into some mischief with Hood and the rest of our loved ones.

Fred, Travis Bentley and I were all good friends. We got into so called trouble a few times and even landed in jail once. Ask Randy Evans about that.
After Fred passed away, his widow and I become very good friends and finally got married and raised his son. Looks just like him
