I lived across the street from Max all through my years in Amarillo. His brother Mike and I were very close friends. I was like his big sister he never had. I don't know where Mike is but I know both Mr. and Mrs. Snipes are gone now. I know they are in Heaven now. Good people. I pray Mike is okay. If someone knows his whereabouts, I would like to know.

Max was a great teammate. He and I spent many an hour on the bus going to baseball games. He was one of the hard nose players I respected. His dad was also an inspiration to me. Max will always be with me everytime I see a baseball game. He was one of the good guys. I'll see you in heaven. The real Field of Dreams.

Max-I guess that little reunion you talked about will have to wait a while. I am greatful that I got to know the King family. What a fine group! The Pagosa Springs fishing trips were some of the most memorable times I've had.We all miss ya!Your friend Harry.God rest your soul.
