Cathy and I went to Texas Tech together - we were supposed to be room mates but TT has us across the hall from each other!! Cathy & I lost touch . . . she is the reason I did the Memorial Wall for our 30th reunion. I had put in my profile that the person I was most anxious to see was Cathy. When Vicki called to tell me Cathy had passed away I immediately tracked down her two older brothers (Bill and Tom) and got the information that started my journey to prepare the Memorial Wall.
It was an experience that I will never forget. It reminded my, once again, that life is fragile - and we need to never miss the opportunity to tell others how much they mean to us.
