I moved from Pacific Beach, WA to St Paul, MN in August to study music composition for film/television at a contemporary conservatory of Music called McNally Smith School of Music. I transferred in as a Junior. They gave me a scholarship! Been in school for 2 weeks and LOVING it! The hardest part is learning the MIDI system and software. Didn't know anyone here so this has been a great adventure. The people are really friendly. I have a great downtown apartment that is a 12 minute walk to school and in the winter I can take the skywalk so I don't have to walk outside when it is -30!!!! This is something I have always wanted to do but didn't think I could. Follow your dreams!
It's never too late.
I moved to Olympia, Wa in 2021 and became the Composer in Residence for The Grays Harbor Symphony and College. In 2025, I won Best Composer in the LA Indie Short Film Festival and was nominated by LA Women in Film for my film SPIRIT OF THE HARBOR.

I graduated from TCU in 1976 and moved to LA to model with Wilhelmina. They moved me to Milan, Itlay where I modeled for a year and then back to LA. I did Vidal Sassoon's TV show several times and started working for his corporate office in Century City. From there I moved to an advertising agency where they sent me to UCLA to study TV production. I produced television and radio commercials in LA for the next few years and landed a job in Honolulu for DDB Needham Advertising. I moved there with my new husband and had my son Michael in 1989. We then moved to Seattle in 1991 (and we divorced) where I worked as an agency producer until 2005. During that time I married John in 1997. In 2006 I started a dog walking/pet sitting business (which I loved!) and sold it in October 2011. My husband John and I then bought a beautiful piece of ocean front property in a remote city in Washington called Moclips. We are currently building a home there and hope to be in it by the end of October. You will all have to come and visit us! Whew! I guess that sums up everything. It's so exciting to hear from everyone! My Mom has been very sick in Tucson where I have been lately but I promise to write back as soon as I can.
