Josephine Estella Attebury Prescott, 45, of Amarillo died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002, in Stephenville.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Howard Batson, senior pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle.

Mrs. Prescott was born May 29, 1957, in Amarillo, to Sam and Julie Attebury. She lived in Dublin the last four years. Josephine graduated from Amarillo High School in 1974 and attended University of Texas at Austin, receiving an undergraduate degree in political science.

Josephine was a loving daughter, mother, sister and friend to all who really knew her. Her family and friends will dearly miss her.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Julianne Noel Prescott.

Survivors include a son, Zane Prescott of Amarillo; her parents of Amarillo; and a sister, Suzanne Boyce of Amarillo.
