Steve was a policeman and pulled me over for no seatbelt around the fall of 84.  When he recognized me - he gave me a warning  He was friendly but reserved - no wise cracks no humor just not the same Steve I knew in high school. After getting to work - it hit me that something must have happened to him on the job

Given recent events - we just do not know what law enforcement goes through and our consideration should be heightened. Don't know how Steve's life ended. Whatever was going on just wish more of us could have offered him a little more encouragement.
