SAN MARCOS — Martha Elaine Boston Pinales, 54, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012.

Martha was born July 9, 1958, in Amarillo. She began a life in San Marcos in 1988, where she enjoyed the clear San Marcos River, beautiful hill country landscapes and refreshing native blooms of the Texas Hill Country.

She graduated from Tascosa High School and completed an associate’s degree in interior design from Amarillo College. Her interior design skills were utilized when she worked for several furniture stores throughout her life as she had an appreciation for design and placement. She enjoyed creatively sewing and crocheting, which she did for various projects when she worked for San Marcos Costume Co.and continued to crochet throughout her life. Most importantly, she was a mother and with such joyful gratitude enjoyed the splendor of raising her three lovely girls that prismatically reflect the humble, caring, nurturing job she accomplished.

Survivors include, husband Phillip Pinales; daughters Carina, Deana and Shannon Pinales.
