OBITUARY - TIMOTHY D. DOLAN

Executive Director of the Midland Odessa Transportation Organization - Metropolitan Planning Organization Timothy D. Dolan died Thursday, August 23, 2012, near Gatesville, at the age of 54.

He was born on Feb. 1, 1958, in Amarillo to James Ralph and Mary Dunn Dolan. He was raised in Amarillo and attended St. Mary’s Academy, Tascosa High School and Amarillo Community College. He received his bachelor’s degree in history/urban studies from the University of Detroit. He completed masters of science in community and regional planning coursework at the University of Texas. He married Page Abbott on June 3, 1989, in Houston. He worked as a city planner in Austin, Plano, Longview, Wash., Kerrville, Marble Falls and Temple. He also taught at Lamar Middle School in Temple. He was lector at St. Luke Catholic Church in Temple.
