
Patricia Ruth Buzzell, 39, of Amarillo died Friday, June 19, 2004.
Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Anne's Catholic Church in Coppell with Monsignor Kilian Broderick officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Moore Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Arlington by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Patricia graduated from Tascosa High School in Amarillo in 1983. She was an honor graduate. She attended the University of Dallas, as well as studying at their campus in Rome. While in Rome, she was one of 20 University of Dallas students who were granted an audience with the Pope.
Patricia was an accomplished musician and also loved history, art and children. She had been a teacher of Spanish, French and Italian at a Dallas Montessori school.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Melvin and Macy Davis and John H. and Ernestine Buzzell.
Survivors include her parents, Patricia Davis Buzzell of Amarillo and John E. and June Buzzell of Garland; a brother, John David Buzzell of Dallas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family suggests memorials be to St. Mary's Montessori School, 1200 S. Washington St., Amarillo, TX 79102, NWTH Wyatt Indigent Program, 1501 Coulter St., Amarillo, TX 79106 or to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America, 386 Park Avenue South, 17th Floor, New York, NY 10016.
